Hello! We are sisters Cami and Sophie, flower growers at Deer Leap flowers and third generation market gardeners, our paternal grandmother was a Land Girl during WW2 and our family were market gardeners for several generations. We hope the soil is in our blood as we begin this new project and cultivate our plot in this beautiful valley.

Nature is at the heart of our plan and our intention is to provide a happy and sustainable environment that encourages wildlife as we grow in tune with the seasons.

FLORIST
Sophie has recently graduated from Cardiff Met university with a first class BA (Hons) degree in Textiles, specialising in surface pattern design. Throughout her time at Cardiff she discovered a love for natural dyes and floral watercolours, leading to a passion for growing and floristy.

Since leaving university Sophie has found work experience with local florists and has also completed a floristry course at The Good Florist Studio, learning a range of floral design techniques to develop her skills and follow her passions of becoming a floral designer.

GROWER
Cami lives on site and cares for the holiday accommodation @deerleapfarm. Growing up Cami travelled extensively and developed a love for India where she trained as a yoga teacher. Now with a young family she plans to develop her passion for growing flowers, herbs and vegetables organically.
