About Us
We're Cami and Sophie – sisters, flower growers, and the hands (and hearts) behind Deer Leap Flowers.
Growing is in our roots – we're third-generation market gardeners, following in the muddy footsteps of our family before us. Our grandmother was a Land Girl during the Second World War, and our family has worked the land for generations. Now, we're nurturing our own patch of Devon soil, growing seasonal blooms in a beautiful valley we feel lucky to call home.
Nature is at the heart of everything we do. We're creating a space that supports wildlife, celebrates the seasons, and grows flowers in a way that feels joyful, sustainable, and full of heart. We’re so glad you’re here.
Sophie - The Florist
Sophie graduated from Cardiff Met University with a First Class Honours degree in Textiles, specialising in surface pattern design. During her time there, she discovered a love for natural dyes and delicate floral watercolours – sparking a deeper interest in the beauty of nature, both grown and painted. That creative curiosity soon bloomed into a passion for growing flowers and floristry.
Since graduating, Sophie has worked alongside talented local florists and completed a floristry course at The Good Florist Studio, where she learned a wide range of design techniques. She's now channelling her creativity into floral design at Deer Leap, where art and nature go hand in hand.
Cami - The Grower
Cami lives on site at Deer Leap Farm, where she also looks after much of the day-to-day life on the land. After years of travelling and developing a deep connection with India – where she trained as a yoga teacher – Cami has now put down roots with her young family in Devon.
Her love for plants, nature, and simple, seasonal living fuels her passion for growing flowers, herbs and vegetables organically. Cami brings care, calm, and a deep respect for the earth to every seed sown and bloom grown at Deer Leap.
